Kontinua Systems, a manufacturer of power electronics and CAN communication solutions, has developed a line of advanced power control modules (PCM). Thanks to this hardware, relays and fuses can be eliminated, making any project more flexible, reliable and cost-efficient thanks to the reduced effort required for cable assembly. PCMs are adaptable and available for 12V and 24V applications. Configurable displays and push-button panels control the PCM or other ECUs via CANbus. These systems are available for a variety of telematic use cases, with (smart) sensors to monitor fuel consumption, axle loads or operational states.
The PCM sends out all relevant circuit states via CANbus. In addition, Kontinua has a range of contactless CANbus readers to monitor CAN messages without cutting a bus wire. Finally, Kontinua also provides a range of analogue-to-CAN modules, to get more sensor information into the CAN and telematics network.
