EIC funding for entrepreneurs developing the electric and autonomous construction machines of the future
The European Innovation Council EIC provides grant and equity funding to innovative ventures to bridge the gap between science and market adoption. As one of the largest sectors in the EU, the AEC (Architecture Engineering Construction) sector faces multiple pressing challenges such as decarbonization, productivity growth and digitalization. The development and commercialization of zero-emission construction equipment and embracing increasing degrees of automation and autonomy are important in resolving these challenges. Many innovative technologies and products must be developed and commercialized. The EIC likes to support promising innovators and entrepreneurs that are developing the electric or autonomous construction machines of the future.
