Rota Engineering will present its smallest, most robust linear transducers for position control and monitoring of hydraulic cylinders. These transducers have been specifically designed for the mobile hydraulic cylinder market to withstand physical abuse and exposure to dust and water ingress. In
addition to internal transducers, Rota has patents pending for technology where the transducer can be mounted externally, designed for double-rodded or through-rod steering cylinders and longer-stroke cylinders.
Rota also manufactures tank-level transducers that use proven Hall effect technology, employed successfully in linear position applications for over 15 years. Rota liquid level transducers for fuel, hydraulic oil, water and chemical tanks now have the added capability of dual output, level and temperature in one package when using a digital output.
Features of this product include improved accuracy so operators can better monitor hydraulic oil tank level and temperature in one transducer package. It can withstand 75g shock and 25g vibration with greater than 60-year MTBF for long life.
With an all-welded, rugged stainless-steel construction, and IP69K Open Face high-pressure washdown compatible, Rota Engineering’s linear transducers are designed and manufactured for tough applications where robustness is required.
