Rugged keypads for extreme applications

EAO will present its new Series 09 Rugged Keypads with eight push buttons at the show. They are ideally suited for operation in outdoor applications and under extreme conditions.
Just like the company’s Rugged Keypads with six push buttons, the new models feature impressive, freely configurable four-segment RGB halo ring illumination, which enables the indication of operating states and visual feedback from the keypad, depending on the application. The application flexibility is rounded off by interchangeable ISO 7000 or customer-specific symbols and the possibility of colored symbol inserts.
In line with the existing Series 09 Rugged Keypads, the eight-push-button models are also available in three variants: super, plus and basic. They are all designed and manufactured in accordance with the IATF 16949 automotive standard and have a modular design that allows easy mounting via clip-in or screw fastening.
The high protection rating of up to IP6K9K provides the highest level of robustness and makes these keypads ideal for outdoor use on various construction or specialty vehicles, even in extreme, harsh conditions.
