New touchscreen for harsh environments
CVEP
The new CVEP CANDi7 touchscreen is designed to display information in agricultural and construction machinery and commercial vehicles. The projected capacitive touchscreen is designed to work in harsh environments. Its dedicated graphics controller and small microcontroller enable CVEP to provide a performant 7in touchscreen display at an affordable price.
The display supports CAN 2.0B 11bit, and 29bit IDs are possible, with a data transmission rate up to 1Mbit/s. The CANDi7 provides one universal IO pin as well as an analog input.
The CANDi7 comes with a CVEP CAN bootloader. It is possible to flash all the assets to the dedicated flash chip and the program to the microcontroller with the CVEP flash tool. The download process is based on CANopen.
