The latest solution to reduce reverberant in-cab noise

Solutions for noise and temperature problems will be required on industrial vehicles for many years to come. The problems may change, as will the solutions. However, the underside of the cab roof remains the main area being used to absorb reverberant noise inside the operator environment.
Blachford will use IVT Expo to showcase a new roof liner with two new developments.
First, the raw materials are a combination of natural fibers, bringing superior acoustic performance. These are excellent, eco-friendly, cost-competitive, lightweight and strong solutions, and excellent alternatives to plastic substrates.
Second, the process used can create integrated duct features, negating the need for additional roto-molded or injection-molded parts. This is achieved by employing a compression-blow molding technique in one process, with no additional assembly required.
