Sweden-based Be-Ge Seating is one of the world's oldest manufacturers of driver's seats. At iVT Expo, it will present a long-awaited accessory for the construction machinery industry: an electrically motorized memory seat.
Ronny Nilsson, the company’s commercial director, says, “This is a newly developed driver’s seat designed for the heavy-duty off-road market. The electrically motorized driver's seat is easy to set up and can memorize settings for up to three drivers. A machine is often shared by several drivers during the day, and quickly getting the right settings for the best ergonomics and working environment is of the utmost importance.
“We are launching the seat at the fair, where you will be able to see and squeeze the product. Sales are planned for later this year. We showed it for the first time at ConExpo in Las Vegas in March and now we look forward to showing it in Cologne.”
Be-Ge Seating will also display its semi-active suspension, which automatically adjusts to the correct damping depending on the surface, as well as a dual damper system developed to withstand extremely harsh conditions.
